ANTIQUE YELLOW GOLD, CITRINE AND SCOTTISH CAIRNGORM BROOCH

A late Victorian to Edwardian Scottish brooch featuring a natural round brilliant cut citrine of approximately 15.82ct, held in a raised eight-claw setting. The circular 9 carat yellow gold mount is decorated with engraved Celtic motifs and set with agate panel inserts, with one panel absent. Measuring 38.67mm in diameter and presented in good condition with light signs of wear.  A distinctive Celtic Revival piece with strong period character.
